Drama at the VA...

What an eventful day! Wow--where do I start. Well, lets start with me waking up at 5:00 this morning--that sure wansn't pretty. Anyways, I was clinic assistant at the VA today. I was there with Amanda, Heather W., Brittany, Lisa, and Corbin. I was hoping that I would get to see a patient--but instead, Amanda thought that it was her job to tell me what to do every second. It is really hard for me to listen to this! She told me to suction for her--but I needed to get ready first. Then she said, "You do know how to get ready, don't you?! You need a mask, glasses and gloves!" Really--I didn't know that! Thanks for the info! I really wouldn't have minded helping her (or anyone), but be nice! I don't treat you like crap--you don't treat me like crap. Isn't that how it goes?! I guess not! Then I had to listen to her yell at her patient and call him "Mr." the whole time. Poor guy! Well, by the end of the appointment, her patient with alzheimers got up to go to the bathroom--and he never came back. So, I guess Amanda went to look for him--then she didn't come back. Next thing you know--the cops are there asking for descriptions of Amanda and this patient. Amanda came back a little while later and wasn't really yelled at--but was told that she needed to pay more attention to the health history and should have kept this condition in the back of her mind. Well--our came the rain! Amanda was crying for the rest of the morning. (I only feel safe typing this because I know that Amanda will never read my blog--because even after a year of seeing eachother everyday--she still doesn't know my name!--HELLO!) Anyways, the VA security and the Salt Lake police got involved in finding this guy. And as of 4:30 today when I left, they still hadn't found him. I guess you could say that was the most exciting part of my day!

I was able to see another class 5 this afternoon! Great! It was more good experience.

I missed being at WSU with my friends! I'm sure that they had a lot of good laughs--and all I was listening to was crying. Boo-Hoo for me! ha ha ha.

Until next time...

Dear Mr. "love but hate". Ummm..so, that was a little bit weird that you want me to read something about how to catch a cheating husband. I am not really into these kinds of things--so please leave me alone! I really don't know how all of these random people find my blog! Seriously!

Melissa!!!
We really did miss you in clinic today. Nobody even laughed when I walked into clinic, I have to say that I really missed it. Your day sounded really eventful, maybe next time you're a CA at the VA you can pretend you have dementia and just wander home, hahah. Anyway, sorry Amanda doesn't know your name, she doesn't know mine either, oh wait she know's my first name she just apparently has never heard my last name and she doesn't even remember that we were in Pathophys together. BLAH! Have a great weekend, I can't wait til I you're back in clinic again, hooray!!!

meliss--
We totally missed you in clinic. Nobody laughed hardly at all. Probably because i couldn't get a word in edge-wise with my 70 year old lady in the chair!!! She was a talker. It's a good thing she was nice because my AM pt was pretty antsy and i think crystal was ready to knock her out before i would have!! Anyway, have fun with the new move-ins. Hopefully they won't be makin babies in the basement anytime soon!!

Wow...and I thought finding roast beef interproximally was bad!!! I am so sorry you had such a hard day! I noticed you were not in clinic on Thurs and wondered if you were at the VA. We really did miss you! Well, I hope I can be your CA and then you can boss me around-and make me chart for you and suction etc.!! See you Thurs.

PS to get rid of the spam bloggers go to your settings then comments and then activate the word verification option and that should stop the husband catching people from bothering you.
